This riding boot in genuine leather features a rear zipper as well as a large protective pad on the medial part of the calf. All of our genuine leather boots are handcrafted and internally lined with a thin layer of leather. The protective pad is double-stitched on, and the rest of the boot has double-stitch seams elsewhere as well. This boot also features an accordion-like elastic at the collar of the boot. This feature allows for a snug fit, especially during calf-flexion while the jockey is riding the horse. This boot sports a low heel and a thin rubber sole. The sole is externally ribbed to provide a more secure grip on the stirrup. The heel is both glued and nailed onto the boot for extra reinforcement and durability, and the sole is glued on with borderline stitching along the outline of the foot of the sole.
